    About

A bit about me, I am not an expert on your life; you are! I am straight forward. I like to infuse humor when there is space for it. I have a poker face, but I like to take the guesswork out of this equation. Whether we connect online or in-person, you’ll find that I can be formal or not. I’ll meet you where you are-figuratively. We can play “truth or “dare”, take the long road or the short road to your wellness destination. You choose. Just know that we’re going to get there.

In our sessions, I’ll keep you accountable through at-home assignments, I’ll show you how to be vulnerable through role-play, and periodically I’ll integrate different techniques such as brain-spotting, tapping, or EMDR to ensure that you leave the session feeling lighter and more equipped to embrace any challenge. I’ll ask that you pivot and lean in when you begin to feel most like running away. Yes, I’m going to ask that you be flexible and stretch. Write this down, “try it on,” you will hear me say it time and time again.

You’re here for a reason. Are you ready to take the first step? Getting started is usually the hardest part. Call me so that I can answer your questions, its time to get out of your head and into a session.

Life-changing therapy! Highly Recommended! My family and I moved to the Bay area almost three years ago for a new job opportunity. I was still reeling from the loss of one of my siblings so needless to say there was a ton of transition. Finding a good therapist takes work if you want to benefit from the process. During my first meeting with Olisha, I knew she'd help me on my road to healing after loss as well as get my feet firmly planted in the Bay area. Her ability to balance empathy + compassion with giving solid advice for how to improve things in my life has made a world of difference for me. She's professional, reliable, and consistently responsive. After working together for the last two years, I still look forward to sharing my life updates with her and hearing her perspective. She's a bit of a life coach and the very best accountability partner. #NewtotheBay
